New Product Feature: Reporting Dashboard

Since deciding to focus on providing a truly modern corporate learning platform, we knew we needed to develop an equally effective reporting solution. We learned almost immediately that content creators across organizations of all sizes have one thing in common—the need to generate training that works—and yet lack the appropriate tools to measure both learner competency and content efficacy. In fact, we observed that many corporate learning tools focus almost exclusively on learners passing the test, and not on the content passing the test.

The Inkling Habitat Reporting Dashboard

That’s why we’re excited to announce a new reporting feature in Inkling Habitat. Our goal was to provide learning content creators with simple but effective insights into how their content is being used and allow them to make targeted improvements. This month’s release includes the ability to see how many times different pages have been viewed, and by how many unique visitors. After all, learning is no longer linear, which means end users prefer content that’s fluid, searchable, and bite-sized. With our reporting tool, it’s easy to identify the exact areas most commonly viewed by learners, and which areas are simply skipped over or neglected.

What’s Next:

We’re rolling this feature out incrementally to our current customers, and are also working on additional reporting dimensions. On the horizon is everything from understanding which types of interactivity perform well, to the platforms and devices that readers are using most. It’s all a part of our larger focus on equipping content creators with the tools and the data they need to make smarter content decisions for their learners.
